ORDER

This Petition has been filed seeking direction to the Police not to harass the Petitioner and his property and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2.Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petition is numbered as CSR No.31 of 2020 and the enquiry is pending.

3. In view of such CSR pending blanket order (not to harass) cannot be passed. The Petitioner is directed to cooperate with the police for enquiry. During the course of enquiry any cognizable offence is made out, the Respondent police is free to register FIR. At the stage of such enquiry there should not be any unnecessary harassment. However, it is made clear that this order shall not be shield for the petitioner against the Page 2 / 4

arrest.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
