This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner's life based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.04.2022.

2. A detailed counter affidavit has been filed by the 2nd respondent.

3. Heard Mr.E.Sampath Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

4. In the considered view of this Court, it will suffice if a direction is given to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner, dated 07.04.2022 and to respond within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
