PETITION under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondent for not complying with the order dated 27.2.2015 made in W.P.No.30370 of 2013 to set aside the document No.2664 of 2009 dated 23.7.2009 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Purasawalkam, Chennai-7 and to restore the mortgage deed No.3414 of 2008 dated 10.9.2008 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Purasawalkam, Chennai-7. ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order and direction issued in the order dated 27.2.2015 in W.P.No.30370 of 2013.

2. It is submitted that the respondent has not restored the mortgage deed No.3414 of 2008 dated 10.9.2008. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. However, this consequential relief was not ordered and only liberty was granted to the petitioners to work out their remedies in a manner known to law.

4. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that no contempt was made out.

5. Accordingly, the above contempt petition is dismissed. However, this will not prevent the petitioners from working out their remedies in a manner known to law.
