ORDER

Writ petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2017.

2.The writ petitioner is due for promotion to the post of Deputy Tahsildar on 15.09.2017 and he made a representation to the respondents in this regard. The Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court passed orders in favour of similarly placed persons in W.A.No.2216 of 2013 dated 03.04.2014. The writ petitioner is also seeking the similar relief in the light of the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.No.2216 of 2013 dated 03.04.2014. The petitioner has made a representation on 15.04.2017 and it was also acknowledged by the respondents. The representation is still pending. In view of his promotion due on September 2017, the petitioner seeks early disposal of his representation dated 15.04.2017.

3.In view of the above, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2017, in the light of the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.2216 of 2013 dated 03.04.2014 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
