Prayer : Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of declaration to declare the decision taken by the first respondent in his order dated 1.5.2020 and the third respondent in his proceedings dated 4.5.2020 to reopen the liquor shops during the lockdown period is illegal, void ab-initio and contrary to its own regulations to prevent and control of Covid-19 pandemic.

2. These writ petitions are filed seeking directions not to reopen the liquor shops during the Covid-19 pandemic period.

3. By efflux of time, the relief claimed in these writ petitions now would not survive.
