Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to cancel the patta in the name of the 5th respondent with regard to Survey No.215/2C2B an extent of 1.25 cents in Navalur Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kanchipuram District and consequently to restore the same in the name of petitioner's father namely S.Krishnamoorthy.
