This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.233 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police, registered for the offence punishable under Section 42 of Prisons Act, 1894.

2. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that FIR in Crime No.233 of 2018, pending on the file of the first respondent police, has been enquired and the same was closed as 'barred by limitation'. The closure report has also been filed before the concerned jurisdictional Court.
