This petition has been filed seeking to set aside the order dated 18.03.2021 dismissing the Civil Revision Petition for non-prosecution.
2. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned counsel for revision petitioner submitted that during the Covid-19 period, when this court functioning through virtual mode, junior counsel to the counsel on record was put incharge of the list of cases. However, inadvertently, the listing of the above matter was not noticed by him and as such, due to his non-appearance, the C.R.P. was dismissed for non-prosecution. The above mistake is neither willful nor wanton. Hence, he has filed the above petition to restore the above C.R.P.
3. Mrs.P.Vijaya Devi, learned Government Advocate for respondents 2 to 6 appeared and submitted that he has no objection for allowing this petition.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances, and being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition seeking to restore the Civil Revision Petition, this Court is inclined to allow this petition and to restore the C.R.P
5. Post the C.R.P. on 15.11.2022.
