Mr.Saravanan * * * * * COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The learned counsel for the respondent states that in view of Ambattur Municipality having been merged with the Corporation of Chennai vide G.O.Ms.No.97, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 19.07.2011 and the period of one year having elapsed, fresh notice would have to be issued by the Corporation as per Section 220 of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919.
