ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This matter has been listed today under the caption "for being mentioned" at the instance of the Registry pointing out typographical error that crept in the order dated 23.03.2026.

2. It has been brought to our notice that, while dismissing the writ petition, a consequential order has been passed dismissing WMP No.11644 of 2026 which was filed under Rule 15 of Madras High Court Writ Rules, 2021 to permit the petitioners to join together and file a single writ petition.

3. In view of the above, delete the last sentence in paragraph 5 of the order, i.e. "Consequently, the interim application is also dismissed" and replace the same as "WMP No.11644 of 2026 filed to permit the petitioners to file a single writ petition is ordered

subject to payment of separate court-fee within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order." The Registry is directed to carry out necessary correction and issue amended order copy to the parties.
