ORDER

(delivered by SATISH K.AGNIHOTRI, J.) With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioners, claiming to be members of "Kurumans" community, have made an appeal dated 08 April 2013 to the second respondent, seeking to conduct enquiry in respect of the social status of the petitioners. According to the petitioners, no decision has been taken till date, despite time schedule fixed by the Supreme Court. It is further submitted that the Supreme Court in Kumari Madhuri Patil Vs. Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development & Others1 has fixed six months' time schedule for verification and passing the order. Since April 2013, the matter is pending.

3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the decision will be taken in accordance with law and as per the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Kumari Madhuri Patil's case (supra) as well as several Government Orders issued by the Government from time to time, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.In view of the above said submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, it is ordered accordingly. 5.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
