ORDER
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions would submit that the petitioner got married to Thiru. A. Balamurugan, s/o Ayyavu, who is employed as a Grade-II Police Constable, working in R3, Ashok Nagar Police Station in the services of Tamil Nadu Police and there is a matrimonial discord and she intends to file a case against her husband for the purpose of claiming maintenance and for that purpose, she requires salary particulars. Since the Public Information Officer attached to Deputy Commissioner Office, T.Nagar, has failed to furnish information, she has filed first appeal before the Public Information Officer/Appellate Authority for which also there is no response and hence, she filed second appeal before the State Information Commission. Since the said appeal has not been disposed of, the petitioner is constrained to file the present writ petition.

Mr.Niranjan Rajagopalan, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent would submit that the second appeal filed by the petitioner has been numbered as S.A.No.3142/2016 and a outer time limit of eight weeks may be given for disposal of the said appeal as the appeals are being taken in serial item and given disposal.
4. In the light of the said submission, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's second appeal in S.A.No. 3142/2016 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to Thiru. A.Balamurugan, s/o Ayyavu, Grade-II Police Constable, R3, Ashok Nagar Police Station, Chennai.
5. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
