This petition has been filed by the applicant / sole defendant, seeking appointment of an Advocate Commissioner to record her evidence in her residence located at New No.12, Old No.16, Kasthuribai Nagar, 6th Main Road, Adyar, Chennai 600 020.

2. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant is aged 91 years and it is not possible for her to make her presence before the Court and depose evidence.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent / plaintiff fairly conceded that he does not have any objection in allowing the petition.

4. In view of the same and considering the age of the applicant, this petition is allowed. Ms.Chenthoori Pugazendhi, Advocate, having office at 336, B1, 1st Floor, Thambu Chetty Street, Chennai - 600 001, Mobile No.9884711273 is appointed as Advocate Commissioner to record the evidence of the defendant at her residence located at located at New No.12, Old No.16, Kasthuribai Nagar, 6th Main Road, Adyar, Chennai 600020. The remuneration of the Advocate Commissioner is fixed at Rs.10,000/-, (Rupees Ten thousand only) which shall be borne by the parties equally. 31.03.2023 vum https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
