By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be a resident of Kannukaranur, Valapady Taluk, Salem District. He submitted an application dated 2.6.2015, seeking permission to conduct cultural programme in Mariamman Kaliamman Temple, which includes dance and song programme, scheduled to be held on 10.6.2015. Since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submission of Mr.S.Udayakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, Spl.G.P., who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Considering the limited prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the issue, this Court directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 2.6.2015 in accordance with law, on or before 9.6.2015, and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
