This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2, to provide adequate police protection to remove the olden Electricity Pole and install a new Electricity Pole, in the Petitioner's North Street, Mangalur Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District by Considering the representation of the Petitioner's dated 01.02.2024, in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 & 2.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2024 at the earliest. 2/4

In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 & 2 to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2024 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
