Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1and 2 to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 16.02.2023 in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and the Rules made thereunder.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this Writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2023.
2. Mr.E.Veda Bagath Singh, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st and 2nd respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the Learned counsel on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the 3rd and 4th respondents, notice to the 3rd and 4th respondents is dispensed with.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a member of the 3rd respondent Society, which is a registered society under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975. According to the petitioner, the office bearers of the 3rd respondent society have misappropriated the funds of the society and there are various other violations committed by them. In this 2/6
regard, the petitioner made a detailed representation dated 16.02.2023 before the 1st and 2nd respondents, requesting to take necessary action against the illegality and misappropriation of funds committed by the office bearers of the 3rd respondent society, however, till date, no orders have been passed on the said representation. Hence, this Writ petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2023 and take necessary action against the illegality and misappropriation of funds committed by the office bearers of the 3rd respondent society as expeditiously as possible.
6. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for the said order being passed.
7. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation 3/6
dated 16.02.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and private respondents.
8. With the above observations and directions, this Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
