ORDER

This matter is listed today under the caption "For Being Mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

2. I have heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that, while the order dated 13.03.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.4768 of 2026 in Crl.O.P.No.1842 of 2026 grants relaxation, the concerned police station was erroneously mentioned as 'the Inspector of Police, Fairlands Police Station, Alagapuram, Salem', instead of 'the Inspector of Police, Veerapandi Police Station, Tiruppur District', due to an inadvertent typographical error. Accordingly, the Paragraph No.3 in the order dated 13.03.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.4768 of 2026 in Crl.O.P.No.1842 of 2026, is modified as follows:

"3. Considering the submissions made on either side and the nature of the offence, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.1842 of 2026 dated 30.01.2026. Accordingly, the condition that 'the petitioner shall stay at Salem and report before the Inspector of Police, Fairlands Police Station, Alagapuram, Salem, every day at 10.30 a.m. until further orders' is modified to the effect that 'the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Veerapandi Police Station, Tiruppur District, on alternate days at 10.30 a.m. until further orders'. The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered."

4. In view of the above, the Registry is directed to carry out the necessary corrections by substituting the revised Paragraph No.3 in place of the original and to issue a fresh order copy forthwith.
