ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.389 of 2015 dated 18.02.2015 and to file the final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the FIR is registered in the year 2015 for the offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C. Under such circumstances, this Court cannot issue a time bound direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.389 of 2015. However the respondent Police is directed to conduct the investigation expeditiously and take action in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
