O R D E R

This Criminal Revision Case has been filed against the order dated 20.09.2024 passed in MC.No.58 of 2023 on the file of the learned Family Court, Krishnagiri, Krishnagiri District, thereby ordering monthly maintenance of Rs.7,000/- payable by the petitioner to the respondent. 2.

Heard, the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused, all the materials placed before this Court.

On perusal of records, it is revealed that the petitioner had married

the respondent on 25.11.2021. Thereafter, they had misunderstanding between them and as such, the respondent was driven out from the matrimonial home. Therefore, she could not maintain herself and she filed petition for maintenance. Admittedly, the petitioner is working as Driver and is earning reasonable income. That apart, the petitioner possesses agricultural lands. Hence, the trial court rightly awarded maintenance, that too Rs.7,000/-, which is a meagre amount. Hence, this Court is not inclined to consider the prayer sought for by the petitioner.
