renewing his arm license for the period between 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2028 for the License No. LOCAL 13/2019/TRP(S) in License No. LN31603A7A1D719 for the Weapon No.190211861.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioners arm renewal application dated 05.12.2023 for renewing his arm license for the period between 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2028 for the License No. LOCAL 13/2019/TRP(S) in License No. LN31603A7A1D719 for the Weapon No.190211861.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was possessing the said arm with due license. When the license expired, the petitioner has made an application, which is now kept pending.

3. The limited prayer that is prayed is only to consider the application in accordance with law.
4.When the matter came up for admission, Mr.V.P.R.Ilanparthi, Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.Dr.C.E.Pratap, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice on behalf of the second respondent.
5. The learned Additional Government Prosecutor submits that there is a case, which is pending against the petitioner also.
6. Be that as it may, the first respondent will duly call for report from the second respondent and the decision has to be taken in accordance with law.
7. The first respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 05.12.2023 and pass orders thereof within a period of eight 3/5
weeks, from the date of receipt of the web copy of this order, without waiting for the certified copy.
8. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
