Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of declaration, to declare that the petitioner herein is eligible to apply and to be appointed as Graduate Teachers/Block Resource Teacher Educator (BRTE) based on the qualifications obtained pursuant to the notification dated 25.10.2023 issued by the third respondent.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed for declaration to declare that the petitioner is eligible to apply and be appointed as Graduate Teachers/Block Resource Teacher Educator (BRTE) in pursuant to the notification dated 25.10.2023 issued by the third respondent.
2. The petitioner is qualified with D.T.Ed. and the certificate for the same was issued on 28.07.2008, though he completed in the month of October, 2007. The petitioner also completed his Graduation in B.Lit. in the year 2010. Thereafter, he appeared for the Teacher Eligibility Test and also passed the same by securing 101 marks in the year 2013. In the year 2014, the petitioner participated in the certificate verification for the post of Graduate Teachers/B.T. Assistants. Subsequently, the petitioner completed B.Ed. in the year
2017.
3. While being so, the third respondent issued the notification dated 25.10.2023, for direct recruitment of Graduate Teachers/Block Resource Teacher Educator (BRTE) - 2023. The petitioner applied for the same, however, the portal of the third respondent showed that the petitioner's Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test Roll Number is invalid. While the petitioner approached the third respondent, the petitioner was mailed that "as per CV records Ineligible D.T.Ed., and B.Lit. same year [D.T.Ed., Oct 2007 & B.Lit. 2007-10]", though the petitioner completed D.T.Ed. in the month of October, 2007, and had acquired the certificate for B.Lit., in the year 2010. Subsequently, the petitioner had also acquired B.Ed. in the year 2017.
4. As per the notification, the qualifications required are a Degree and B.Ed. for the post of B.T. Assistants. Therefore, the petitioner is eligible to apply for the post. However, now the examinations are over and the entire selection process has been completed. Therefore, the candidature of the petitioner cannot be considered for the recruitment to the post of Graduate Teachers/Block
Resource Teacher Educator (BRTE) as per the notification issued by the third respondent dated 25.10.2023. However, the petitioner is eligible to apply for the vacancies, arising in future, for the post of Graduate Teachers/Block Resource Teacher Educator (BRTE).
5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
