ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to relax the condition that the petitioner is directed to report before the respondent police, daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders imposed upon the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.2166 of 2026 dated 30.01.2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly.

3. Considering the submissions made on either sides and the nature of the offence, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.2166 of 2026 dated 30.01.2026. Accordingly, the condition that "the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders" is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on every alternate day at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter once in a week for a further period of four weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation. The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.
