The defacto complainant in Crime No.634 of 2016 is before this Court for expeditious disposal of the trial in SC.No.301 of 2017 on the file of the VI Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent states that the trial has commenced in this case and so far 12 witnesses were examined and summons were issued to LW9, LW19 & LW20 for their appearance on 07.06.2024. He would further submit that the prosecution is proposed to examine 23 witnesses.

3. In the light of the above fact, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the directions to the trial Court to expedite the trial as expeditiously as possible and complete it preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 24.04.2024 Index :Yes/No.
