Mr.R.Paramasivam COMMON ORDER These petitions have been filed seeking to condone the delay of 170 days in filing the above Crl.A.Sr.Nos.6757 & 6760 of 2016. 2.When these matters were taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/complainant submitted that the respondent/accused, by name, P.V.Achuthan, had died in March 2017. 3.Recording the same, these petitions are dismissed as the prosecution abates against the accused. In view of the same, the Criminal Appeals in Crl.A.Sr.Nos.6757 & 6760 of 2016 are rejected. 08.11.2017 smi To, 1.The Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level-II, Egmore,Chennai-8.
