Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for promotion as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-I) as he had also undergone the prepromotional training imparted by the Tamil Nadu Police Academy in pursuance proceedings of the second respondent dated 12.01.2020 in R.C.No.76566/GB-2(1)/2017, by passing orders on the mercy petitions submitted by the petitioner herein dated 02.04.2020 and 03.04.2020 against the order of the censure imposed by the Superintendent of Police, Nilgiris dated 29.06.2018 and the order of censure imposed by the Deputy Commissioner (L & O), Salem City dated 12.07.2019 respectively. ORDER
