No.1199/E3/2019 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to retire from service with all retirement benefits.

ORDER

The petitioner challenges the order of suspension in this writ petition.

2. After the order of suspension, the petitioner was subjected to disciplinary proceedings under Rule 17(b) of Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules. Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Special Government Pleader submits that the disciplinary proceedings has concluded and final order has been passed on 02.05.2023, removing the petitioner from service. As such, no interference is required to the suspension order. The petitioner is granted liberty to challenge the punishment order in accordance with law.
