O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to conduct further investigation in the case in Crime No.33 of 2024 on the file of second respondent on the ground that the name of the prime accused was deleted in the First Information Report.

2. Heard Mr.G.Saibaba, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the First Information Report itself has been registered on 19.01.2024. The investigation is in progress. If in the course of investigation, the respondent police collect sufficient materials, the offences will be altered accordingly and those involved in the crime will be shown as accused persons.

4. In view of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to continue with the investigation effectively and based on the materials collected during the course of investigation, either 2/4

alter the FIR or file the final report by adding the necessary offences made out. All those persons against whom the offences are made out, shall be added as accused persons in the final report. The investigation in the case shall be completed and final report shall be filed as expeditiously as possible.
