ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 12.06.2016, given by the petitioner and to investigate the same.

2. No representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the records.

3. The petitioner has given a complaint dated 12.06.2016 to the Inspector of Police, D-4, Padalam Police Station, Kanchipuram District, but, whereas the petitioner has impleaded the Inspector of Police, D4, Madhuranthakam Police Station, Kanchipuram District.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 12.06.2016, the Sub Inspector of Police, Padalam Police Station, is conducting enquiry is CSR.No.129 of 2016 and that the petitioner is not co-operating with them.

The petitioner is directed to appear before the Sub Inspector of Police, D4, Padalam Police Station, Kanchipuram District and co-operate with the enquiry and the Sub Inspector of Police, Padalam Police Station, Kanchipuram District, is directed to conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1, otherwise the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
