and 294 situate at Agili Village, Madurantagam Taluk, Chengalpet District, which are classified as 'Meikal' in the Revenue records within a stipulated period.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Mr.R.Vijayan, S/o.Late Rangasamy, has filed this writ petition for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to take action and remove the encroachments made in S.F.Nos.287, 288 and 294 situate at Agili Village, Madurantagam Taluk, Chengalpet District, which are classified as 'Meikal' in the Revenue records.

2. A perusal of the photographs enclosed by the petitioner along with the writ petition clearly shows that the persons, who are alleged to have encroached the land in the said survey numbers, are all living in thatched houses, which appear to have been temporarily put up. Therefore, we do not find any merit in the writ petition.

The writ petition is devoid of merits and is dismissed accordingly. There will be no order as to costs.
