O R D E R
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to revoke the Lookout Circular issued against the petitioner in respect of his France Passport Nos.10CZ37460 and 04BK58638 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2024.
2. The petitioner is an accused in Cr.No.1518 of 2020 dated 08.11.2020. Originally, the same was registered for the offence under Sections 341 and 365 of IPC subsequently altered into one under Sections 341, 365, 352, 342, 147 and 506(ii) of IPC. The petitioner is working abroad. Therefore, the third respondent in order to complete the investigation, issued look out circular against the petitioner and it is pending. Already, the petitioner's passport was seized from the petitioner and deposited before the Judicial Magistrate Court-I, Mayiladuthurai. Now, investigation has been almost completed.
3. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to keep the 2/5
look out circular in abeyance. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mayiladuthurai by filing an application and seek permission to visit abroad and on receipt of the said application, the learned Magistrate is directed to consider the application on merits in accordance with law and also permit the petitioner to visit abroad with conditions.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
