petitioner before the 2nd respondent namely District Revenue officer with regard to the property situated in Tiruvannamalai District, Kilpennathur Taluk, Vettavalam village, Gandhi Salai comprised in Grama Natham survey No.215/10 (New Grama Natham survey No.215/307) of an extent of 3757 square feet is liable to be disposed of on merits within the time to be fixed by this court.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the petitioner's appeal dated 21.10.2024, pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.
2.Mr.C.Prakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. Since no adverse orders are passed as against the 6th respondent, notice to the 6th respondent is dispensed with by this Court in this Writ Petition.
3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 21.01.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and by adhering to the Principles of natural justice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal dated 21.01.2024. 4.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's appeal dated 21.10.2024, by adhering to the Principles of natural justice, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
