The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order passed in W.P.No.8601 of 2016 dated 28.07.2016.

It is represented that the order, which is the subject matter of contempt, has been complied with vide proceedings of Regional Transport Officer, Chennai (SouthEast), Chennai - 600 028, dated 27.01.2017 in R.No.425/A2/2016 and it is taken on file and recorded. It is also submitted that the above stated proceedings of Regional Transport Officer is put to challenge in W.P.No.11045 of 2017.

In the light of the said development, the Contempt Petition is closed.
