Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.210 of 2021 from the 2nd respondent police to the 3rd respondent / CB CID to investigate the matter and file a final report in accordance with law. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of the investigation in Crime No.210 of 2021 from the 2nd respondent police to the 3rd respondent for further investigation and to file a final report.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent, after completion of the investigation, has filed a closure report as "Further Action Dropped". In fact, aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed a protest petition and it is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai, Erode District. Therefore, no investigation is pending with the second respondent.

3. In view of the above, the question of transferring the investigation does not arise. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
