When this Court was about to dismiss this petition on merits, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle today.

2. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. The first respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.136 of 2024 and file the final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
