O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The Petitioner, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.04.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 188, 269, 270 and 271 of IPC, Section 3 of Epidemic Disease Act, Section 134 & 135 of Tamil Nadu Public Health Act, 1939, 51(1)(b) of National Disaster Management Act, 2005 r/w 13 & 14 of ForeignersAct, 1946 in Crime No.90 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were granted interim bail by this Court on 13.05.2020. While so, the respondent has completed the investigation and filed final report and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.2227 of 2020 on the file of the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and the petitioners pleaded guilty and the case has been closed and the petitioners were convicted and sentenced for the period already

undergone as remand prisoners and they were released. He would submit that the trial Court has also permitted them to leave the country. He would submit that the petitioners have also made a representation to the respondents to withdraw the lookout circular and the same has not been considered so far and hence, he prays that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation.

3. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.

However, the petitioners are directed to approach the respondent for withdrawing the lookout circular and the respondent shall consider the representation made by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
