Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to step up the pay and accord incremental benefits by regularizing the service on par with junior Smt.S.Gunaselvi as on 11.01.1988 and consequently, direct to pay the arrears of the pay / Salary, retrial benefits and revised pension based upon stepping up of pay by way of considering the petitioner's representation dated on 12.12.2024 within time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents to step up the pay of the petitioner and to grant incremental benefits and regularize the service of the petitioner on par with her junior, S.Gunaselvi, as on 11.01.1988. The petitioner also seeks that arrears should be paid within a specified period of time. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner had been appointed as Organizer -cum- Tailoring Instructor Grade - II by order dated 23.12.1987. She had been functioning in various posts. The service of the junior was regularized on 27.03.2003. The petitioner's service was also regularized on 27.03.2003. But however, it is contended that her pay has to be stepped up in accordance with the pay received by her junior S.Gunaselvi. Claiming that the petitioner had been given representation to the respondents on 12.12.2024.

3.A direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to examine the representation dated 12.12.2024 given by the petitioner and examine the service register of the petitioner and also examine the service register of the junior S.Gunaselvi and examine whether the pay of the petitioner should be stepped up as sought by her and if the petitioner is to be granted the relief, the same shall be granted within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
