The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to give police protection.
2. The contention of Mr.Bharatha Chakravarthy, learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) is that there is a serious dispute between the parties with regard to their title and therefore, their remedy is only before the appropriate civil forum.

3. Once there is a serious dispute between the parties regarding title, it is for the parties to establish their title before the Civil forum and get their relief. The direction sought for in this petition cannot be granted by this court.
