Parthipan ..Respondent(s) PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th Respondent to measure, identify, survey, and earmark the boundaries of the properties in S.No. 76/2B in Irugur Village, and S.Nos. 653/3 and 653/4A in Nilambur Village based on the applications 2025/0123/12/007417 dated 27/03/2025, 2026/0123/12/000915 dated 24/02/2026, 2025/0123/12/007418 dated 27/03/2025, and 2024/0123/12/003391 dated 17/08/2024.

O R D E R

W.M.P.No.14164 of 2026 filed seeking permission to the petitioners to join together and file a single writ petition is ordered. 2.This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 4 and 5 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioners

are owned by them, based on their online applications, dated 27.03.2025, 24.02.2026, 27.03.2025 and 17.08.2024 with the assistance of the 3rd respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 3.The petitioners have submitted applications through on-line on 27.03.2025, 24.02.2026, 27.03.2025 and 17.08.2024 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same were not considered by the official respondents till date, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.

4.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for the respondents 1, 4 & 5 and Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 6 to 10 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 6 to 10 is dispensed with by this Court. 5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the respondents 4 and 5 are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioners' property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 6 to 10, the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit to put on notice, within a time

frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents 4 and 5 are directed to issue notice to the respondents 6 to 10, the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice. (b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents 4 and 5 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the respondents 4 and 5, the 3rd respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.

(d) There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 08-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order GSA
