This petition has been filed under Section 482 CrPC, seeking a direction to the respondent herein to register a case on the basis of the complaint dated 01.12.2014 and to file final report within a stipulated period.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as the petitioner is not cooperating for the enquiry, the respondent police is unable to take any further action.

3. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is prepared to appear before the respondent police and cooperate for the enquiry.

4. Considering the submissions of both sides, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police and submit a fresh copy of the complaint, and on such complaint being made, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and register a case, if cognizable offence is made out, keeping in view the dictum laid down by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Hon'ble Apex Court in re Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)] and investigate the same in accordance with law.
