O R D E R

The prayer made in the writ petition is to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Adal Padal Programs, in the event of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukkovil festival at Nathahalli Village, Dharmapuri District, scheduled to be held on 23.05.2017 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2017.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has submitted a representation dated 03.05.2017 to the 3rd respondent, seeking permission to conduct Adal Padal Programs, in the event of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukkovil festival at Nathahalli Village, Dharmapuri District, scheduled to be held on 23.05.2017. However, till date, no order has been passed by the 3rd respondent. Hence, this petition.

3. Though the petitioner sought for permission to conduct "Adal Padal Programs", learned counsel for the petitioner restricted the same to the extent of conducting Orchestra, for which, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has raised no serious objection.

4. In view of the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2017 and grant permission to the petitioner to conduct

Orchestra, in the event of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukkovil festival at Nathahalli Village, Dharmapuri District, scheduled to be held on 23.05.2017, subject to usual conditions. It is made clear that this Court has not granted any direction to conduct "Adal Padal Nigazhchi/dance programme".
