Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to pass necessary orders of approval with reference to the pay fixation / wage settlement proposals dated 31.10.2018 forwarded by the fourth respondent. O R D E R

Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The present writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner for fixation of pay proposed by the fourth respondent on 31.10.2018. The said proposal has been forwarded to the third respondent. In a similar circumstance, similarly placed individual filed a writ petition in W.P.No.10707 of 2020, in which, the third respondent has filed a counter that they will positively pass orders on 28.02.2021. The petitioner is also similarly placed person and the very same undertaking will apply to the petitioner in this writ petition also. Now that the learned Special Government Pleader submits that the third respondent has not passed any orders on the proposal, as promised before this Court.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, a direction is given to the third respondent to pass orders on the proposal sent in favour of the Writ Petitions also on or before 28.06.2021.

4.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.

5.Post this matter for reporting compliance on 06.07.2021.
