O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to remove the name of the petitioner from the history sheeter list maintained by the second respondent.

2. The petitioner has given a representation dated 03.04.2021 to the first respondent requesting to remove his name from the history sheet. Since no action has been taken on the representation, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court, seeking for appropriate directions.

4. Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

5. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the case, the petitioner shall submit a fresh representation to the second respondent and the second respondent shall consider the representation dated 03.04.2021 submitted by the petitioner in accordance with the guidelines given by this Court in Sabari @ sabarigiri Vs. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Annanagar (L and O) Range, Madurai City, Madurai and others, reported in 2018 (4MLJ) Criminal page 585 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the representation of the petitioner.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
