Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to regularise the services of the applicant in the post of Skilled Assistant with effect from the date of his initial appointment (i.e. 17.11.1999) and grant him all consequential benefits.

Originally the petitioner has filed an application before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai and subsequently, the same has been transferred and renumbered as writ petition before this Court.

2. Petitioner was appointed as Skilled Assistant with the third respondent in the year 1999. It is his further case that though he rendered five years of unblemished service, his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

services in the said post was not regularised. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation on 20.02.2002 to the second respondent seeking to regularise his services. Since the representation submitted by the petitioner was not considered by the second respondent, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. At the time of hearing the writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's services were regularised and the petitioner is working at Government Polytechnic College, Krishnagiri at present.
