PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to Return / Release the Gold Weighing 2.810 Kilograms to the petitioner by giving effect to the order passed by the Commissioner of Customs (AppealsII), Chennai, the 4th respondent herein vide Order-in-Appeal Seaport C.Cus.II No.233-236/2020, dated 06.02.2020 in so far as the petitioner is concerned, on payment of Applicable Duty, Redemption Fine of Rs.4,60,000/- and Penalty of Rs.2,00,000/-.
