ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.11723 of 2025 dated 02.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court by its order dated 02.04.2025 had issued a direction to the respondents to issue passport to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks and since the same was not complied with, the petitioner has come forward with the present Contempt Petition.

4. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that in compliance with the order of this Court dated 02.04.2025, the respondent has renewed the passport of the petitioner for a period of one year i.e., from 09.04.2025 to 08.04.2026.

5. In view of the submissions of the learned counsel for the respondent, the respondent has complied with the order of this Court dated 02.04.2025 and there is no wilful disobedience on the part of the respondent and hence, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
