Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to implement the order in letter bearing No.2727/PSD-A2/2002, dated 20.01.2003 of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and re-fix the seniority with all consequential benefits to the petitioner by considering the representation dated 11.11.2011.

ORDER

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. Though the prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondent herein to implement the order in letter bearing No.2727/PSD-A2/2002, dated 20.01.2003 of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and re-fix the seniority with all consequential benefits to the petitioner by considering the representation dated 11.11.2011, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if his representation dated 11.11.2011 is disposed of within a time frame, in the light of the aforesaid recommendation letter of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission dated 20.01.2003. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of such a narrow prayer made and also taking into account the fact that the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has made a recommendation in letter bearing No.2727/PSD-A2/2002, dated 20.01.2003, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.11.2011, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
