Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the order of detention against the petitioner's son viz., D.Karthick, S/o.Duraisamy in C.No.13/G/IS/2021 dated 04.03.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the said order and issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents herein to produce the body of the detenu viz., D.Karthick, S/o.Duraisamy, now confined at the Central Prison, Coimbatore, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C.No.13/G/IS/2021 dated 04.03.2021 detaining her son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1937, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 27.04.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
