This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to resume the petitioner name in patta No.272 and 475 as per order
No.Pa.Maa.530/6-2/1990-1991 dated 25.06.1990, based on the petitioner's application dated 20.07.2018, 16.07.2020 and 02.12.2020.

Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition, on the consent expressed by the Learned counsel appearing for either side, taken up for final disposal.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased the land comprised in New.S.F.Nos.779/1, 779/2 and 779/3, situated at Gundurnadu Village, Kollimalai Taluk, Namakkal District in the year 1989. Thereafter, the petitioner's name was included in the patta, subsequently, it was not appeared in the patta. Thereby, the petitioner made representations on 20.07.2018, 16.07.2020 and 02.12.2020, for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner. However, till date, no order has been passed on the same. Hence, this present petition is filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the last representation of the petitioner dated 02.12.2020 and may pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. 5.
The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, would submit that the representation made by the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits within the time frame to be fixed by this court. 6.
In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first and second respondents to consider the last representation of the petitioner dated 02.12.2020 and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
