ORDER
The petitioner's appeal for promotion to the post of Deputy Commandant on par with his junior Mr.Durairaj was rejected by the order dated 12.1.2016 passed by the Additional Director https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
General of Police, Armed Reserve, Chennai, the third respondent herein. Immediately after the filing of the further appeal before the Director General of Police, Law & Order, Chennai on 25.2.2016, he has come to this Court seeking for early disposal of the same on merits.
2. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. This Court, although finds that the petitioner has come to this Court so quickly, without going to the merits, hereby directs the second respondent to consider the appeal dated 25.2.2016 filed by the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
Consequently, W.M.P.No.13623 of 2016 is closed. No costs.
