In the result, the Original Application Nos.1178 to 1180 of 2018 are dismissed. The order of status quo granted in the above applications are vacated. The Application Nos.1283 to 1288 of 2020 are allowed. The Defendants No.1 and 2 are directed to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,00,000/- (Rupees Five Crores only) to the credit of the suit within one month. On such deposit the same shall be deposited into a nationalised bank until further orders."

2. A sum of Rs.5 crores has been deposited through 5 Demand Drafts which are now placed before me by the Registry. The Demand Drafts are in the name of Registrar General, Madras High Court and have been purchased from Axis Bank, Perumbakkam, Chennai bearing Numbers 000284, 000285, 0000286, 000287 and 000288 respectively and all dated 30.07.2020, and each for a sum of Rs.1 crore. 1/2 http://www.judis.nic.in

3. The matter has been listed today under the caption 'For Reporting Compliance" of the order dated 01.07.2020. Deposited of the Demand Drafts as directed is recorded.

4. Any grievance which the counsels have regarding either the said order or the nature of the said order or for any clarification, the same cannot be addressed without there being any material in writing.

5. List the matter whenever any application is filed.
